Mark's dedication to advocacy for individuals with disabilities is truly inspiring, and his impact spans far and wide within our community. Mark's life is a tapestry of achievements, from earning his Bachelor of Arts to obtaining a Master's in Recreation Education. Despite facing mobility challenges, Mark continues to inspire us with his independence and passion for storytelling. He cherishes every moment spent writing, especially his beloved "Bobby Bear" Christmas letters.
His contributions don't stop there! Mark has played pivotal roles in the Lion’s Club and helped establish Lion’s Camp Horizons. His work with our Training Center has been invaluable, providing guidance to new staff on the importance of empathy and understanding in caregiving. To our community, Mark is more than an advocate; he is a beacon of hope and kindness. His words of wisdom during staff orientations remind us all why we do what we do and how meaningful this work is.
