Legislative Advocacy and Communication
For CRSA members, evaluating and setting legislative priorities is a year-round activity. They take the proactive stance of letting local representatives know what's important to CRSA and why. This gives the representatives a chance to really understand CRSA's goals and get on board with them. And when local representatives (and, by extension, their staff) understand these goals, they become much more likely to act in accordance with them.
Demonstrating Results
CRSA is a perfect example of the strength in numbers, and far exceeds just representation. The association has a long and successful history of achieving real, beneficial results for its members and the people they serve. CRSA's member agencies wield a lot of influence and power. We work together to influence national and state policies and access national resources that all of our members can benefit from. We are also a forum for sharing and implementing "best practices" that make every member's services better and more responsive to the needs of individuals living in supported situations.
Get Involved
If you're interested in joining this impactful organization, CRSA offers you opportunities for membership, renewal, and active participation. When you engage with CRSA, you gain access to plenty of resources—a veritable treasure trove of them, in fact. And the support you receive is top-notch. But what's really nice about being with CRSA is that you get to help its work, and your help allows CRSA to move toward achieving the kind of mission that you, as a member, would want to see it achieve.
